Release of monthly first sale data from Bulgaria

EUMOFA is pleased to announce the extension of its first sale dataset, which now includes monthly data from Bulgaria

EUMOFA has extended its first sale dataset, which now includes monthly data of recorded species in Bulgaria, broken down by presentation, preservation state and size. This was made possible thanks to the establishment of a regular data transmission flow with the Bulgarian Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture.

As with all data published by EUMOFA, figures have been subject to in-depth reliability, completeness and accuracy quality checks.

The concrete involvement of Bulgaria in EUMOFA will contribute to providing a more exhaustive and complete picture of first sale of fish products in the European Union.

With the availability of first sale data for 16 EU Member States (plus Norway and the United Kingdom), this extension represents a further step to achieve the EUMOFA’s purpose to reach 100% EU first sale data coverage.
