EUMOFA Talk - Seafood on a Budget: how EU consumers are adjusting to reduced purchasing power
EUMOFA invites you to join the upcoming Talk, which will be held online on 5 July 2023, from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. (CET), on Zoom. The topic will be “Seafood on a Budget: how EU consumers are adjusting to reduced purchasing power”.
The current economic pressure is reshaping purchasing decisions and the consumption landscape of fisheries and aquaculture products forms the crux of this discussion. As consumption patterns shift, the industry must adapt to meet changing demands while maintaining sustainable practices. This exploration will consider the various ways in which consumer behaviour adaptations can influence the trajectory of the fisheries and aquaculture sector in terms of economic viability, environmental impact, and long-term sustainability. This talk aims to provide an overarching and insightful view of the current dynamics shaping the seafood industry within the EU.
